The law firm Willems was founded in 1906 by Fritz Willems, lawyer, former batonnier at the Hasselt bar and deputy court judge.

Emmanuel Willems acted in his father's footsteps on 23.09.1943 until he passed away in 1986. He was the founder of the law firm's current specializations. He studied liability issues, insurance law, traffic, physical injury and work related accidents.

In 1985, Luc Willems joined his father along with Véronique Cassimon, both lawyer at the Hasselt bar. The existing specializations were expanded with construction, fire damage, fraud issues, commercial law, and debt collection.

Tradition, experience and integrity characterise the law firm which evolved with technological progress without losing the fundamental values ​​of the profession.

As a current independent law firm we are at the service of companies and individuals who may expect a personal approach and a transparent follow-up of their cases.
